hidden gems in san francisco

Since Finals Week is finally over, the two of us decided to hang out by having a little shopping and eating day in the city. Starting out with a visit in Cow Hollow and San Francisco's Brandy Melville, we  were enjoying the bright, sunny weather in the middle of December (that's California weather for you). Not really finding anything from Brandy's fall collection, we picked up some accessories and hair bands, which are overlooked by Brandy customers. Not being very expensive and being very cute at the same time, it's a wonder why Brandy's accessories section isn't spoken of as much.

After, we used an awesome Groupon deal for American Apparel, located on San Francisco's Union Street. If you're wondering what the heck a Groupon is, it's this cool little site that offers amazing deals for shops, food, etc. in your local area. We were able to pick up a Groupon for $80 worth of American Apparel items for only $40. Picking up a pair of AA's famous high-waisted shorts and a beanie, I gotta say that the American Apparel hype does not lie.

While walking around on Union Street, we stumbled across a hidden alleyway. As you walked further down the path, it opened up into a cute area with dainty white tables and chairs, brick walls lined with ivy, and strung up lights. Being hidden, the area was very quiet and surrounded by small card shops. Needless to say, we think we've found our new favorite place to go and shoot.

You never know when you're going to find a hidden gem on a random hang-out day.
